30-Days of Yoga For Beginners

There's no need to sign up for anything. All the classes will be posted to my YouTube channel and saved to a playlist so that you can tune in each day and practice along with the challenge.

👍 It's for complete beginners

The challenge has been created for people who are completely new to yoga, but it's also a great resource for anyone in need of a refresher. Starting from scratch or want to go back to basics? This is a great challenge for you.

📈 It's structured methodically

The challenge is designed to take you through a journey each week. Week 1 we focus on foundations, week 2 we work on standing sequences, week 3 works towards hip openers, breath work and meditation and week 4 introduces backbends. The last few classes wrap everything up.

📚 Use household items as props

Props are recommended, but don't feel like you need to go out and buy them especially for this. Household items work just as well as yoga props. Books can be used as yoga blocks, a pillow as a bolster, a blanket to pad your knees and a belt as a yoga strap.

⏰ Class schedule

I will post each class a day ahead of time so that friends in every time zone can practice on the day. That means although the challenge officially starts on the 1st January 2025, I will post the first video on the 31st so that no one is waiting to get started.

⌚️Class length

The challenge builds up progressively. In the first few weeks the classes range between 15 - 20 minutes long. By week's 3 and 4 we will increase the class length to 25 - 30 minutes to build your endurance. The final class of the challenge is a 45 minute celebration to help you see how far you've come.
